Independent Fact Checker Rates Ossoff Attack Ad “Mostly False”
Jon Ossoff will say anything to hide his radical, socialist agenda.
A new report by a nonpartisan fact checker has rated Jon Ossoff’s misleading ad about Senator David Perdue‘s stock transactions “mostly false.”
CBS 47 Jacksonville, which serves much of southeast Georgia, set the record straight about Senator Perdue‘s trading, highlighting how a “U.S. Senate ethics panel found no evidence those trades violated federal law, senate rules, or standards of conduct” while pointing out similar findings by the Department of Justice and the SEC whose independent reviews cleared Senator Perdue completely.
This report detailed how the Senator’s trades “are handled by independent financial advisors, without his input” They also rated Senator Perdue‘s ad responding to Ossoff’s false claims “mostly true,” further cementing that Ossoff’s attacks were completely baseless and without credibility.
Ossoff’s lies have become an unfortunate pattern for his campaign. Just yesterday during a debate against Senator Perdue, Ossoff was caught lying about payments he received from the Chinese communist government and made false claims about his record of receiving corporate PAC money.
“With each passing day, Jon Ossoff’s desperate campaign loses more credibility with the people of Georgia,” said Perdue for Senate Communications Director John Burke. “This further shows that Ossoff will say anything to hide his radical socialist agenda, even if it means engaging in wholesale deception.”
