ATLANTA, GA – Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, David Perdue, today released a new TV ad titled, “Georgia Values,” featuring his mother, Gervaise Perdue. Mrs. Perdue speaks from the heart about David’s Middle Georgia upbringing, his strong work ethic, and why Georgians should send him to Washington.
Commenting on the new ad, Perdue spokeswoman Megan Whittemore said, “Mrs. Perdue knows better than anyone else why Georgians should send David to Washington to fight for our values. As a public school teacher, she taught him to work hard and help others, she understands his ability to tackle and solve tough problems, and she knows that he will bring the Middle Georgia values he was raised with to Washington to take us in a new direction and fight for Georgia’s families.”
Gervaise Perdue: “David was in to everything, and he always wanted to do his best. We helped what we could. But if he wanted something, he’d work for it. He has not had anything given to him. As his mother, I’m proud of him. We’ve got to have some new blood in Washington. David would stand up for what he believed. I know one thing: he’ll work at it. And he won’t he forget where he came from, he never has.”
David Perdue: “I’m David Perdue, I approve this message.”
