Perdue For Senate Calls Out Jon Ossoff Over Defunding The Police As He Doubles Down On Flip-Flop
With growing controversy around his flip-flop on defunding the police, Jon Ossoff is doubling down on his reversal to oppose defunding after previously indicating to WAOK radio that he supports defunding.
Last night, CBS 46 News’ Rick Folbaum highlighted the growing controversy around Ossoff’s attempt to have it both ways, noting how Ossoff stated last week that police funding needed to be “on the line,” but now he is claiming the opposite. This came after Ossoff – when repeatedly pressed by multiple outlets on defunding the police – refused to give a yes or no answer to several reporters before finally delivering two contradictory messages in two different interviews, which Townhall.com labeled a “flip-flop.”
Perdue for Senate Senior Spokeswoman Casey Black called out Ossoff for his two-faced attempt to reverse his position on the issue:
As Jon Ossoff continues to flip-flop on the issues that matter most to the people of Georgia, our campaign will continue to hold him accountable for trying to deceive voters.
