“Jon Ossoff two weeks ago told Georgians that he didn’t want to ‘get bogged down in the details’ of delivering additional COVID relief, proving just how unserious and unprepared he is to serve in the United States Senate,” said Perdue for Senate Campaign Manager Ben Fry. “Thanks to the leadership of Senators Perdue and Loeffler, the Senate will pass another COVID relief bill this evening, providing Americans with an additional $1 trillion of funding. This action follows Senator Perdue‘s leadership to pass the CARES Act last summer, which brought over $47 billion in federal funding to Georgia and saved 1.5 million Georgia jobs. His leadership served Georgia well over the past six years, and he’ll continue to be someone we can count on when he is re-elected on January 5.”
